Leena Verma is the Head of North America Human Resources, Business Partnership for Sodexo North America. In this role, she leads the HR Business Partner Organization, aligning people strategies with business objectives, processes, and policies. Leena is a key member of the North America Leadership Team at Sodexo, the global leader in quality-of-life services. Operating in 45 countries, Sodexo employs 430,000 people and serves 80 million consumers daily through On-site Services and Benefits and Rewards Services. The company is committed to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and safety, while upholding the highest standards of corporate responsibility and ethical business conduct. Leena joined Sodexo in January 2024 to lead HR in Canada. Before joining Sodexo, she held an HR executive role at Revera, North America’s largest senior care provider, now operated by Cogir. Her extensive experience across various industries has played a pivotal role in helping Sodexo Canada implement strategic solutions that drive growth and improve retention. This includes integrating Commercial HR with Sales and Operations to support the seamless mobilization of new accounts. Leena also led the redesign of the HR performance framework to ensure alignment between HR priorities and business outcomes. Furthermore, she spearheaded the deployment of the Scheduled Overtime Management project, an operational excellence initiative aimed at fostering discipline and accountability in managing labor costs.

Mark has deep experience in all aspects of human resources, with particular expertise in total rewards, technology transformations, labor relations, employee engagement, health and safety, employee wellness and mergers and integrations. In additional to healthcare, he has worked in multiple sectors, including seniors care and housing, financial services, and transportation and logistics. Before joining UHN, Mark was the Chief People Officer at Revera, a national organization providing long term care homes and retirement residences.
