With over 30 years of experience in employee benefits, Alana Shearer-Kleefeld is the Vice-president, Employee Benefits at 3sHealth. 3sHealth administers 10 employee benefit plan trusts on behalf of 67 employers representing Saskatchewan’s 46,000 health care workers and 20,000 retirees. Alana’s experience includes various benefits leadership positions at 3sHealth and at private sector insurance companies. At 3sHealth, Alana has focused on improving the plan member experience, redesigning the approach to disability claims management, cultivating strong partnerships, and leading governance best practice. Alana holds many credentials including certifications as a Saskatchewan Lean Leader and Masters of Trust Management Standards (MTMSTM). She also volunteers her talents to her sector, most recently with the International Foundation of Employee Benefits and the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute – Saskatchewan Regional Counsel.
